We have an almighty storm going on at the moment! I have got to go and have one of my "download site sessions" so need to get going, but don't really want to have to drive......still, it has to be done!
Today has been a NSD :j Well, apart from OH bike repair costs which are unavoidable.....so I will count today as NSD which will take me to 5 for this month - bang on target :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Just popping on to say hello. Cant manage to catch up with everyone. Life is just flashing past us. I cannot believe its mid June already!.
I thought life would slow down, but it doesnt seem to be doing!.
Unfortunately after leaving the big house that I was sharing with the family, I have ended up with horror of horrors debts!!!
Where I had saved my £2,000 a few months back, I am now nearly the same in debt. The children have moved on and I will now be having to pay the debt off until March 2012!! Its just not fair!!
Now of all time, as I do not have a job, and am on ESA, and with DS leaving school this week, I am going to be loosing my Child Tax Credits and my Child Benefits and of Course the Maintenance.!! Not good.
I think I will be having to come back to the Debt Free Wannabee's and see what I can do to survive. !! As your thread has always been an inspiration, I think I will have to have a re read and get that inspiration back!!
Now that I have had a moan, I will wish you all well. Gather my whits, and see what I can do to plan my way out of this mess! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Sorry to hear about that Mooloo, i try and keep up with your diary and thought things were finally turning around for you. You are right though Hypno is an inspiration.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

What a yukky evening - driving was not fun  Then, about 5 minutes after I arrived, we had a power cut  So trying to work in the dark, without internet connection, phone etc was just impossible. Thankfully, in the 5 minute "window", we did manage to boil the kettle.....its all about priorities you see :rotfl:
We need to be more disciplined about the download site - we have been faffing rather a lot, but when we do get our act together, we make money. But often, our "regular fortnightly meetings" fall by the wayside for one reason or another, and we end up going round in circles.
We have the potential to earn a reasonable income - we have proved that by what we have done so far.....and we need the money, so we need to focus on it a bit more - stop seeing it as something that is an "extra if we get round to it" and start working on it like any other job or element of a business.
So, random fortnightly meetings are to become weekly meetings and faffing is to become discipline and productivity.
And we will see if we can make some decent money from itSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good for you Hypno. I believe that your download site could be a money-spinner so I hope that everyone is able to pull together on this on as equal a basis as possible. My only concern is that you don't take on a lion's share of this work.
Please look after yourself, as you sound like you're wearing yourself a bit too thin these days. Thinking of you and wishing you all well.0 -
