  • Hope you're all having a lie-in after yesterdays upset. I'm so sorry that your son has been suffering the strains of being bullied. I'm pleased the police are involved and I know that you'll be sure that your son (and everyone in the family) has the support to get through this episode. I can't begin to put into words how angry I am on your collective behalf.

Today, a new day and the weekend. Wishing you all well.

Sounds like she is having a great time shaun!

Another ski weekend - will be working out how best to keep things least expensive because it involves an overnight stay.....thankfully not one that will cost - DS godparents live near the race, so we can stay with them, but it does mean I need to plan for tomorrow's food.....

Actually, I think I am helping out for some of the race which will entitle me to a free bacon roll or something......

Right, off to do scratchcards, banking, check ebay.......drink coffee.....

    Morning

Shaun use any old US zip code -I even have a US priceline account linked to a UK creditcard and it accepts it. It just needs *something" recognisable in it. Americans forget not everyone is American sometimes ;)

KC I'm jealous-have a FAB time -It must be quite weird to be recognised wherever you go. Back in the 80s a friend of mine was on the tube with Donny Osmond and this girl sitting opposite kept staring at him-as he was getting off he leaned towards her and said "Yes it is me" grinned and jumped off. The other extreme I was waiting for my luggage in Greece at an airport and this bloke started chatting to me....I was making polite conversation back trying to work out where I knew him from- parent from school, customer in the pub I worked in etc-then the penny dropped he was in one of the soaps LOL I just kept chatting and never let on I'd recognised him ! (It was a teatime soap so naturally I'd never have admitted to seeing it ;) )

Hypno-don't be surprised if the school won't act on something that happened outside of school. Who the heck does this prat think he is -trying to muscle into your house ? Bloody cheek. I know you don't want to make things worse for DS but stamp and stamp hard ! Consider pressing charges. Big hugs that's a horrible thing to happen for all of you. Hope DS is feeling better today.

Thanks Duchy, thanks all - Bob, I love that Stratford story, I'll tell my sister that!

Hypno - glad you've got something as a family to do thats well away from your area - I can't believe what this kid has done, yesterday and previously.... so sorry your DS is going through this, and I hope it gets "resolved" (said kid gets a kick up the rear, sadly metaphorical) very soon.

He's skiing today, and the lads at the ski club all get on together, so no problems today.

Some of the issues are at school - yesterday lunchtime, for example, this lad mushed a banana into DS face. Nice...... I have to report it to the school, but have no doubt that they will not or cannot do much. Also, I know that this boy's parent's are not too bothered, because they have been spoken to by other parents, as well as the school and they just shrug their shoulders........

So, yes, I will do what I need to do.......but I have been advised to do things in a particular order, so that is what I will do.

Am about to colour my hair - the full salon experience, in the comfort of my own home......:rotfl:
