spoke to dd last night
never left Chicago
at newyork apparently their was a bad lightning storm which delayed them for 2 hrs then 5 head cases decided the plane would crash and had to be let off. delayed for 3hrs(they were 3rd in line to take off:mad:)
so got to Chicago at 2pm and flight for Hawaii was at 9am ish,,,
airline gave them food vouchers and up graded their last flight today...
no hotel fees so stayed in the airport for 10 hrs..
so now think they leave 2am our time and will be in Hawaii around 4pm(6am us time)
flight to Denver 2hrs + 2 hr wait
flight to LA 5hrs + 3 to 4 hr wait
flight to Hawaii 5hrs
so arriving 24hrs late....only good thing they now arrive in the day time instead of night...

baby in Klingon mode.....so guess im not getting much done today:o/:cool:

Afternoon - was at work at 7.30 this morning (school office) in the hope I'd get stuff done - hahahaha ! didn't of course.

Had to leave at 11 to take DS to train as he was going back to swansea - not a good day to travel ! He had 2 hours to get to paddington from liverpool street and missed his train by 2 minutes !!! luckily 1st great western have a note on their website that tickets can be used up to two hours after stated time !!!!!!

Have to go teaching shortly - no idea what tonight as I've lost the plot at the moment - might let them do a distance swim !

Well, the Saturdays, and their two support acts were fab! Far better than Girls Aloud were when I took DD to see them.

And, to top it all, no money was spent, apart from petrol for the car (necessary to get home from work!) so I declare a NSD!!!!

Going to grab something to eat (had no time to eat this evening) and off to bed.....

Everyone is very tired today after a late night last night.....and our student goes home today - we have to take her to the bus station on our way to work.

50p on the scratchcard today, and banking not showing anything unexpected, so that will have to be good enough for today!

aw sorry to hear the student is going home, i bet your going to miss her! but what a send ff for her to go to the concert last night, lucky bean!!!
