Glad you had a good time last night - I watched Matilda with my DD who will be 18 - eek - in 11 days time!
DS had to get someone to climb in his window when he got back to Uni as that is where his spare keys were.

hawaii sounds fab!
The student has gone.......sad. We will def miss her a lot.
We had a fire in the village the night before last - a friend's daughter saw the smoke and raised the alarm, then her dad and another friend of ours broke into the house. Sadly it was too late and the old lady who lived there died. I am so proud of those guys - one ended up in A&E himself - so so selfless to risk their own lives to try and help someone else.

Morning everyone!
Hypno that is such a sad story - but it does make us realise we are lucky to be alive!!
Congrats on securing the china trip. I am sure those squares will be coloured in within no time
Hawaii really does sound ace - we want to go there. Have been looking into it for next year for us all but as I can't fly () would have to cruise it and is really expensive so is going to have to wait until we are much closer to DF! Darn it...
Have a good day xxDFW Nerd #11520 -
Oh my god, Hypno. Obviously, with what's been happening in my family of late, that kind of thing has really been on my mind. But ... to go in a house fire. Awful. I keep looking at the paperwork my sister's been left with, and wanting to make sure that if something happened to me, it would be simpler than right now. I've closed 3 accounts in the last week, and I could change the signatories on one, and close another 3. Its very sobering.
OTOH - the bright side of this stuff... Hawaii! Shaun, you're getting us all going :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I have no idea how you manage to get the reviews done at lunch, they take me a couple of hours! I need to learn to type quicker obvoiusly. Plus I wander round my house for ages deciding what to write about. I hold the world record for speed typing -goes back to the days when one of my many "extra jobs" was typing in addresses onto a database from home - I got paid 2p per address......you learn to type bloomin quick otherwise you will never earn much :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Mystery shop done after work - will input it later.....only a £5 job but £5 is £5 and it didn't cost me anything extra in petrol etc.....a few more easy ones like that would be very welcome!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
