Well - it's slowly getting there Tigerlilly
My moment of extreem pride was at the Thame County Fair at the bank holiday when Kira walked round with dogs barking at her and lunging at her and not ONCE did she go for them or bark back! It's taken YEARS but I'm so proud of her!
Please don't get me wrong - she's not cured, she's not fixed - she's merely showing progress
We paid a rather impressive price for a good reputable trainer and she went through a bunch of stuff we knew already (I say we - me and my dog walker) but she explained things to us and gave us training methods and helped with the timing of things etc and when this baby arrives and can be left with daddy we're going to training sessions at her facility. Yes it was expensive (more than £95 for 2 hours!) but she was worth every penny. Only advice I WOULD give is pick your trainer carefully... research the methods they use first and get some recommendations from people who have used them.
I not only knew of mines methods from TV, but had had a chat with her in person at an RSPCA open day so already had some idea of the line she'd recommend and I was happy with thatDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
