Glad you're OK Toots. Take it easy and sleep if you need to. Re the cream on your back - could you do a heath robinson type device with some cotton wool taped to the end of a ruler or wooden spoon or something then put the cream on the cotton wool and spread with that (you'd probably need a mirror too)?
Oh, and edited to add: FFP: Re Afghanistan - I know it's worrying but actually, it'll be less worrying that you think I'm sure. If you consider the number of all nation Troops out there, compared with the number of casualties the risk, although not low, isn't as high statistically as it could be. Small comfort I know and my thoughts and prayers are with you. But if he was ready and up beat, that's what matters...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots, glad to see you posting was worried about you. I think it's the Body Shop that sell cotton mitts that you put on your hand and you can use it to put cream on your back. I'll have a look to see if I've still got it, I think it's for applying fake tan but I've never used the one I got. I might not have kept it when I moved, will have a look when I get up next. Sorry if that sounds lazy!
Yay Lola glad to hear DH’s got a job interview.
hope DD’s tummy is better soon TAG
Got to wash up in a mo. My get up and go has got up and gone. Also need to hang out the washing. Spose I'd better go and do it."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

thanks soappie might try to give that a go - I have a long handled wash sponge but it was useless - too big too long and I couldnt feel the sponge so I wasnt rubbing it in:rolleyes:
rosepink thanks for the offer - i have one of those - its an awkward place and 'on my hand' wouldnt reach but soappie's suggestion might be more controllable
And I know I havent said but have been meaning too - I think my 40 days giving up chocolate and sweets for lent has helped me as I am still not really that bothered - I have thoroughly enjoyed the Thorntons diabetic chocolate that some lovely person sent me -its made up of small rectangles and I have a couple with my coffee every night and its lovely - before lent i would have eaten the whole bar in 5 minutes!!!
