I wish my washing machine would hurry up. I put some tops and a pair of pants in to redye black and I've just put it on the 1st 40wash with the clothing still in, and I'm supposed to do another one, do you think it would do any harm if I left it over night and put another load in to dye tomorrow? I might just put a quick daily wash on to rinse it out... :o They were looking good when I checked between cycles :D Here's hoping they turn out well and on that thought... I have a white double quilt set (double quilt cover & 2 pillow cases), which has pale blue feather pattern on it... anyone any idea what it would tun out like if I dyed it, say black? :oI don't want to buy a new one as there's nothing wrong with this set except it reminds me of me and ex when things were going right if you know what I mean :o so I'd like to change it... I guess I could dye it red and that in theory would make the feathers purple wouldn't it?

oh well off to pack this money up...

I'm in. We really need some kicking up the Jacksey's here. If i give a list to DH, he'll happily tackle a couple of bits for me before slobbing in front of the telly. Priority one has to be school stuff as i have to have a good idea what my lessons next week will be by Wednesday so i can hand in my lab equipment request sheet.

It's likely to be a busy one as usual, so i will put some extras in as i think of them.

mudbath thoughts and prayers for your dad x

good luck to the rest of the teachers here for tomorrow.

The re-dying was a success:j:jSo there's some money saved as I thought I was going to have to go out and buy some new tops. :D So now all I have to do is get another 2 packs of dye and do the rest of my black-now-charcoal-but-going-to-be-re-dyed clothing which includes a pair of jeans :D Now if I could just find somewhere cheaper than Asda to buy it I'd be a happy bunny:rotfl:

As for the money...I just found a£10 note in my purse so I'll have that to use as well this week, but I will use my card tomorrow simply so I can get the dye and get that job done while I also get DN's birthday pressie for Saturday from DD.

Time for bed... I was supposed to be going up about 10pm :o
