    Hi All

Mudbath I was all prepared to give you a whole list of ideas for your Dad but Emily beat me to it..........my Mum lost her sight.........I agree with the registering blind, quite a few incentives there, calibre were very helpful, down here we have a group called 'Foresight' not sure if they are nationwide, but they arrange home visits to advise on vision aids eg: talking clocks, hot drink aids etc........lots of things to help in the home that I had never thought of, also enquire via GP about day centres.........good to meet others in the same situation. You know where I am if you want any help xx

Mrsmh many congrats on the birth of Oliver.....have added you to FB

Rose glad you enjoyed your walk, did you get my FB request?

    Froddy enjoy your new car

Phil fingers crossed, hope everything goes well

Have been ebaying again.........so more parcels to wrap!!

    Hugs to All

    xx

    Evening ladies and gents

just a quick fly in and out.

Have managed a quick flick through the thread so

LadyLiberty - thx for asking about OH and job. Unfortunately no word as yet altho he has been back onto the union tonight as one of his mates was in the crew room the other day and heard the area manager (who interviewed him over the incident and then said he would interview the other guy to get the truth!) openly discussing it to anyone who would listen saying that HE had to make a decision whether OH had basically just *ucked up or was being lazy and whether to sack him or not. OH is now waiting for a response from the union rep as whether to take out a grievance and/or write to the chief exec!

Phil - Good luck vibes on job front

Nicky/Mozzy - those head colds/flu things sound nasty, hope you both feel better soon

Lilme - We went to Park Coppice in Coniston. It was lovely. A huge site but you can find little pockets in the woods where there is only space for about 6 vans, and theres a path down to the lake. Our friends took Kayaks and went on the lakes, but there's plenty of cycle routes etc.

Toots - huge hugs for your continuing treatment

Boddy - hope mum is well

Mrsmortenharket - Congratulations on the birth of Oliver

Pigpen - hope all is ok with you x

Everyone else - sorry if I missed you hope all ok, I was scanning through as no time as usual!

As for flying, no time as was in hairdresser 3 hours but I have managed to declutter my purse of receipts and update them onto the computer. Just need to do internet banking tomorrow now as well as make a Victorian costume for Thursday

Bed now as didnt realise it was so late

    Night all
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

JillD: We've realised that actually we do still like each other, I think we just don't like each other's parenting styles, so when we are doing the actual parenting its hard work.

This is exactly how my OH and I are now!! We actually enjoy time together alone (ie Kiddieless!!)Can't wait for Ireland next month - those of you who know me from before will know what crap we've been through but think we are well and truly out the other side...(well, I'm saying that now, but I am on wine glass 3!!!)

Will update lists tomorrow as I really should go to bed!!
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:

    Morning all.

Bit misty and murky here today but they reckon it'll clear and be hot again. I must remember to put the load in the washing machine on the line before I go to work

Have a lovely day people. I shall fly when I get home.
