I am absolutely disgusted with this change! I am now really worried as I often have problems and end up on the phone to them for hours! I assume we get charged for the time they keep us on hold? Why should I be charged for problems they have caused? I am seriously thinking it is time to get away from NTL!

Dialling NTL using 150 stopped a very long time ago....

Just tried it. It still works whwere i live.
    GONE ENGLAND
  • Yes it has changed. The charges will apply when calling from Cable Line.
150 etc no longer works! See this thread http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=44142

You can't take the information as the gospel truth from the cableforum website since there are a number of ntl employees populating the board. Some may give impartial advice. However there may be some with brown noses that would give misinformation in order to put ntl in better light.

The Info posted is correct. 150 does not work on NTL only on TW . The first batch of customers to be made to use the new customer service numbers will be ex NTL customers.Ex Telewest customers will have that benefit? ,later as they amalagamate the two brands.

People have said its still working, it is still working because the new numbers don't change till May 8th.

I can't believe this though its absolutely disgusting. I believe they have a responsibility to provide customer services for free at no cost to the customer. Its the same with Sky they get away with it and why should customers pay everytime not only to call but the appalling hold times!

I call NTL to pay my bills every month and I've had to call them to tell them about charges THEY have put on my account that I havent requested like 3 way calling or itemized billing and whatever they choose to put on that month and had to explain that I did not request them. I waited ages on hold then it took a while to sort out every time (its happened a lot of times) Why should we pay for thier mistakes or problems with the service they provide? thats thier responsibility not ours

When did it go up to 6p connection charge?

Do BT charge for customer services and what is thier phone and broadband service like?

I am seriously considering moving now because I absolutely am sick to death of companies slapping on these high rate phone numbers to make money! That is all it is

To be honest I think its totally crazy of them to do this right now and I think a lot will leave

Are they going to have massive hold and wait times foir the disconnections line aswell?
    Thanx
