In all seriousness, I can't see how me knowing what you sell could be advantageous?0 -

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
There are very good reasons why many of us choose not to reveal our ebay identities on here and having picked up a real stalker once I won't risk doing it again. I always urge posters here not to reveal anything about their ebay ID as anyone can read this forum , and many thousands do, and if you annoy just one person why give them any ammunition to find out who you are in real life? Yes I am probably a little paranoid but I wouldn't like to be in a situation where I annoy another poster on here who then buys from me and boasts that naughty Soolin overcharged him on post and packing by 3p so he was forced to leave a neg, believe me it has happened. Just go and follow the community boards on ebay for a while and see how low some people will stoop to make a point.
Anyway, you know one of my ids sells books isn't that good enough?
As it happens though the item that the odd person was enquiring about is a short lived high turnover line. A sort of quick and dirty sale, the struggle is judging the market and working out when to stop buying stock as the market is going to collapse. This particular line is currently selling almost faster than I can pack it, yet I am fully confident that the market will be dead in less than a month.
Some of the regulars know some of my ids, so I can assure you I am not an imposter or ebay police or anything that has been suggested in the past.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Poor soolin, its nasty when this happens. When other people have metioned this problem before I always thought its just someone being silly and nothing much to worry about.
However when this happend to me and the person was stalking me on my private email it made me feel very exposed and was very unnerving. When I stopped replying though they did stop eventually which yours will too. But it makes you quite wary for a while.0 -

Depends how serious it is and what they are doing, post more details (as much as you can without identifying anyone) and we can make suggestions.
When I got mine he started buying up my goods and leaving a negative straight away, so the first thing I did of course was to block him, but then I started having trouble with other new users and suspected it was him. In the end i had to stop using that selling account and use another while I sorted it out.
I kept on at ebay until they finally removed the negs for malicious bidding but they had allowed him to get my contact details and that's when the odd telephone calls started happening. I really had to keep on at ebay and eventually the user got suspended, although I don't know on what grounds and he finally got bored and went away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. What do you think provoked him?
I can be outspoken (no really..see half the regulars are hiding already!) and this was a few years ago and I was probably careless mentioning certain items I was selling, in particular I had asked on here for an opinion about an old boxed model, and then gone and listed it so rather gave my ID away.
I believe it was just someone making a point, nothing really sinister just someone who thought I was a bit opinionated and a bit too pleased with my 100% feedback rating and wanted to spoil it a bit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thank you for your responses, I know stalker is a very emotive word but I cant think of a better one to describe my situation. I am not sure if I am being stalked or if I am just the target of a very over zealous Ebay seller desperate for sales.
I purchased a some 80th birthday party items from a seller a few weeks ago. A couple of days later I arrived home from work to find a strange car on my driveway and a well dressed man with his nose pressed against my kitchen window. He told he had bought my party items around as he was local. I thanked him and took the items. He then said he had brought lots more stuff with him and wanted to show me. I declined said goodbye and went into the house.
Later that evening I got an email from him saying that it had been lovely to meet me, and asking if I wanted to meet up to discuss the party I was organising as he could help. I replied politely saying I did not require any further items or assistance.
He turned up at my home the following day claiming to have been driving past (I live in a cul de sac). This time he was offering me party balloons. I very firmly told him to leave and and that I required no further contact with him.
Since, then I have had numerous emails via ebay , several silent phone calls to my home number and on five occasions I have come home from work to find leaflets from his ebay shop pushed through my door.
I am not sure what I should do.Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0
