Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 8 (U.K. Networks Only)

For anyone who is interested I recently bought a Nokia 5800 XM from T-Mobile but ideally wanted to use the phone with another provider’s sim card. Upon searching the net I was soon to realise that there were no reliable DIY unlock codes available. I then visited a number of high street establishments who advised “yes we can unlock your phone” but on trying were unable to due to the newness of the firmware applied to the phone! So I decided to call T-Mobile customer services to ask them about providing me with a code to unlock the phone (subsidy pin). I spoke to a very helpful agent who advised me that for a payment of £14:99 the subsidy pin would be mailed to me within 28 working days. Job done! I now await receipt of the unlock code via Royal Mail. I hope that this helps some of you out there who are struggling with getting this phone unlocked.

Lucky you, i was told by orange i had to wait 3 months for my code :mad:

They are, even with the high software version V.10 or higher, which is SL3 Either contact your network provider, or pro unlocker.
