Sorry, it's a SL3 phone and can be unlocked only if paid for, as there are no free remote codes. Contact a pro unlocker or your network provider.

Hi, does anyone know if I can unlock my Nokia N8 for free, or is it still a case of contacting my network provider (I'm with Virgin)? The IMEI no is: 357398047152605

Also, I came across this site...www.mobile-unlock-direct.com and wondering if anyone knows if its genuine?? I entered my IMEI no and clicked on paypal just to see how much it would cost and it said £3.29 to unlock my phone...

Sorry, not for free. Seems very cheap, why not contact them first to clarify that it be unlocked. If using paypal and not happy with them you can issue a dispute.

My mum wants to revert to her old phone as she found it easier to use. But needs to be unlocked so she can use her O2 sim.

Thank you, I will do it when I go to see her tomorrow.
