Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 8 (U.K. Networks Only)

thanks baldhead - I have (hopefully) found a site that can do it for £4 - the phone only cost £9 so dont really want to spend much to get it unlocked

Sounds very cheap to me, check out the website for a phone number if you can, before you proceed.

they have emailed me back this morning - seems they cant get an unlock code after all! in the meantime I will just have to make do with the temporary number that came with tesco SIM - fingers crossed my phone gets repaired quickly!

We need the IMEI number which you will find under the battery, or type in *#06#

My son was given a Nokia Lumia 800 (it's with Vodafone on a PAYG deal) for Christmas. Is it possible to unlock this please? He wants to go to Gif Gaf as they offer a far better deal.

It is, but not for free as it's a SL3 phone and can be unlocked only if paid for, as there are no free remote codes. Contact a pro unlocker or your network provider/market stall.
