I'm looking to unlock Nokia 6230i, currently locked to orange so I can use a vodafone sim card.

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in the phone. When it says phone restricted, press
‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code and input the code into the box on the screen.

nokia 7100 supernova.

ive googled around various forums and some say that is a dct4+ phone and one says its bb5. anyway, my local unlocking shop tried it and couldn't unlock it and it was wondering if the phone could be unlocked easily (with professional tools) without paying the network operator?

The 7100 is a Dct4+ phone and is not supported yet on the software, but wont be long, but can be unlocked through your network

No, should be on the Univerial Box soon, direct unlock.
