I still can't work out how buyer managed to open an Item not received claim within a week of paying, does the 7 day rule not apply to Germany?

And even more annoying is the fact that it took the buyer one week to pay me after the auction ended!!

Hazey31 thanks for your offer :-)

Latest update is today the buyer has closed the dispute.
    I am not happy.

As suggested by hazey31 I sent a message on Saturday (both in English and German). I have not had any reply for the buyer.

Now where do I stand, do I need to repay paypal?

    TIA

Are you sure buyer closed the dispute? What grounds did he give?

If buyer closed the dispute (and not paypal) then that is it, paypal should take the hold off your funds and release them to you as by closing the dispute buyer has indicated they are happy.

If the buyer has closed the dispute the only reason can be that they have received the goods.

Thanks for the replies, I've just checked my paypal account and the funds have been released. It says in the dispute that the buyer and seller have reached an amicable decision.
I haven't received feedback or an acknowledgement that the jacket has arrived but I take it that it must have.
Thanks to everyone here who have helped me with this problem.
