Yes my dad and my brother are dab hands and they are helping with the house oh is not diy compatable haha im cream crakered, ive been trying to read memory girls diary but so many pages im getting drowned in it lol hope your well happy painting of nails hehe xxx

Ok last past of egg paid for this months so siggy updated and next month will be the final payment yipeee another debtor paid off. Il be paying that as soon as I am paid and cancelling the dd :-) just so I can update my siggy hehe xx

Good evening MSE, what a nice weekend i have had... i need to get my head down now and organise the finances and organise the lifestyle.. egg loan ends next month and i need to dedicate that bit of saving on some other unpaid debt :pthe sooner this is paid off the better.. i have been thinking more about kids and i know people say you will never be financialy ready but id need a newer car thats more child friendly and can fit bits in lol so that would be an outlay, its considering mat pay whilst outlays are still huge and i suppose ive convinced myself out of it been the right time just now thats why i need to get my head down and clear the outlays up lol :T i have no plans just need to spend less and be more sensible lol lo xxx

Hi happy just read your diary . I'm a fellow number cruncher - I live for the days when my direct debits go out so I can re calculate my debt but then its bittersweet because it never seems to go much lower . I always build the recalculating moment up but its always a big anti climax ! I too live in constant turmoil over sorting my run down house out or concentrating on hammering the debt . One day I go for sorting the house the next minute I'm scared stiff and consumed with guilt about the debt ! I also feel sooo broody and would love a baby but have very romantic ideas about bringing my baby into the ideal world so I feel I must wait until I'm debt free but then some days I think I can't ! I also want the dream house . It feels like everything is on hold doesn't it ! Well done for how much debt you've cleared already. Me and my hubby have a bottle of champagne waiting for our df moment but I keep joking that it will have gone off by then !x

Hi bookwormlou :-) nice to meet you. Yes that constant battle does wear you thin it's so undecisive so draining yet all need attention :-). I have decided that direct debits are te way for me that way I'm not relying on myself to overpay. I have manage to balance things with house diy but it all takes time and just lately I want lots of things yesterday and it can make you feel the strain of high numbers grrrr. I don't know how I got in this silly mess some times I can not meausre it up :-/. Anyway onwards and upwards good times :-) x
