    Hi all!!

everyone sounds like they have had busy weekends!! failed at my NSD's this weekend, as OH not home this weekend, so off i went in the car and ended up in a national trust park, £4.50 to get in, but it was worth it!! have learnt i should pack my own food as spent a total of £5 on a burger and an ice cream!! but had a lovely day relaxing!
the only problem was being on my own, very jealous of couples and people walking dogs!! ended up calling at dogs home on way back!! was very brave as spotted a dog which would be perfect. want to talk it over with the OH but not sure how to bring it up as worried he may not be as excited as me!! my mum seems happy to help when i am at work if i got a dog, think it would help with havin neighbour from hell and OH living away! any suggestions to get OH on side??

today went for a bike ride and spent £3.95 on pub lunch. must be better with this spending money thing.

not done much of what i said!
    need to do ironing,
    need to do meal plan
    need to do daily clicks

better get on with it lol!!

  • boopydoo - argh - boys - sorry I meant men - no I think I meant boys. I hope the socks helped

I have an OH with half a flat done, 4 mountain bikes which are over 3k each - now a new motor bike - and is taking us to Canada next year cos its his birthday (great BUT.........) inbetween us moving out and him doing up house - housing market has slumped a bit and he's not taken one bit of notice - keeps moaning about wanting another bike - but thinks I will kill him.

I might not killl him - but like you I think that getting us all a house - somewhere together - soonish - is more of a priority.

Lol what a rant sorry - hope your OH is finally listening to you!

Cleosmum - well done on the car x

A- what a list - I have no doubt you will have managed most of it!!
ogchops well done on the carboot.
Sm hope you had a lovely day with your chum

Some plants moved about the garden - self seeded flowers moved from the veggie garden to the bits of empty flower beds which I can now see cos the bulbs are all up - phew!
    fed hens lots of slugs
    Walked at my willow plots
Had shepherds pie for tea yum
Made curried cauli soup with the left over bits of the stalks etc of the cauli for tomorrows tea
Picked and cooked the first of the rhubarb
went to work and charged phone up
Lady rang about the bed from freecycle picking this up tomorrow - sounds very old and veyr lovely so fingers crossed.

Half of the double batch of hobnobs gone (other half still hiding in the garage he he he he)
Off to check my bank - another NSD today

I love popping to my own stripeysocks shop.

PS Dizzydebs - feed him something lovely first - let him get all after dinner contented and then plant the seed.......

Deb, get the home checks done first, would be awful to set your heart on him/her and find they say no.

Cleosmum - good idea but heart already set lol!! not stopped thinking about it since last night, been thinking of getting a dog for nearly 2 years but made the mistake of checking out the dogs home. but am going to definately take your advice and go back with regards to the home checks. apparently you can foster some dogs and and return them. the dog i was interested you could do this, i though this would be a good idea to see if in reality its a good idea. my other problem is that i am away bank holiday and in the future my mum and dad would be happy to care for the dog, but i would feel bad fostering a dog and then going away for 5 days. maybe i should let fate decide, if the pooch is still there after bank hol maybe its meant to be!
fay - good idea with feeding the OH first!! problem is he isnt home til a week on wed when we go away! maybe i could send a food parcel???

Deb by the time they have sorted out home checks and arranged everything it could be after the BH, so dont let that put you off. If its sorted before then you could always arrange for him to go home with you after you have been away :) While waiting for the checks dont forget to put a reserve on him.
