    My Update this week.
I received my barcode for payment from CCCS, so have paid that today. I have updated all my debts and obtained my credit report, copied all my pension income details and posted those today to CCCS.
Now I sit and wait for the phone call..........

I had my co-op acct confirmed today, set up online banking, and am busy notifying my pension people of my new account, and transferring my DD's over - busy busy busy!

My personal number from the DRO partt of CCCS was over 10,000, so I wonder if that's the number they have had so far?? God help us and them if it is.

Can I say that so far CCCS and Co-op bank staff have been very efficient and fantastic.

Anyway - I had a phonecall from CCCS tonight - the lovely Judith - and she was concerned that my increased state pension this month would take me over the £50 surplus. I was at £16. I absolutely pannicked and nearly threw up. My pension had only gone up by £30. Anyway, I might have told her incorrectly about how often I got paid. She multiplied the weekly amount by 52 then divided by 12 - this gave me a £165 surplus!! I panicked again - we both said it seemed a big increase and looked incorrect, but it was left that I was to contact the bancruptcy section on Monday.
Anyway - I struggled with the figures, and found my payment notification for 2008, and looked at how much I had been receiving every month - we should have just multiplied the weekly figure by 4. That comes in line with last years payments, so should be the same this year. That means my surplus is £46.56 - wooohooo!!

What a relief - I just hope its right. I am going to contact the pension people on Monday to confirm the amount, then phone Judith again.... Fingers crossed.

Still filling in forms. I have reduced my surplus, so thats ok, but my debt is over £14K. I suspect that my creditors will pile on the charges, so that I might not qualify. I have decided to fill in a bankcruptcy form ahead of time just in case, and send it off straight away if I need to.
I was told today that appointments made by NDL are now running into June, so I think time will run out for me.
Gonna have to save over £500 now!
Anyway will wait and see. No point panicking.....

was wondering how it was going. That really is the pits. There should be some sort of safe guard for cases like this, say a cut off to stop creditors adding on interest and charges. Dx

Okay - Have written all my letters to creditors asking them to accept nimonal payment. They will go normal post on Monday.Have completed my form for DRO and a page explaining my outgoings. I have completed my covering letter, asking them to treat my claim urgently because i am so near the £15 limit. This will be posted Monday and will be registered post next day delivery.
Holding my breath now. I have £200 saved towards bakcruptcy if i need it, but I might use it pro rata to keep me under £15K limit. Will wait and see.

This DRO is doing my head in - not sleeping, and not doing much else - just worrying about it....
