Legal & General £85 cashback on S&S ISAs

Options
Anyone else trying this for a third tax year running? I've put in for £50 per month - exactly the same funds as before using Cashback Kings and it has tracked. The only stipulation to qualify seems to be to keep the account open for at least four months (and hence make four months payments before stopping) but otherwise this seems to be a repeatable offer...
.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam

i was looking at this through topcashback, but when i linked through i was totally confused as there were loads of diff isa's and i didnt know the rate of interest:confused: can anyone explain please. or is there another thread that explains it, i would really appreciate thanks..

but on saying that the £85 cashback would be the best part of it anyway..lol..

Stocks and shares ISAs don't have interest rates. They buy into some sort of variable investment, unit trusts or OEICs in the case of Legal and General. This means that your return will be linked to the performance of the fund(s) you purchase rather than any pre-specified interest rate.

Personally I prefer to stick with my current stocks and shares ISA provider for the variety of funds available.

    thanks for the info..

i was only going to put a very small amount in each month.

so if its linked to funds etc, does that mean you could lose money on your investment too?

trying to weigh up if its worth doing doing just for the £85, by all accounts it does track with the cashback site i was thinking of going through

Do you take the money out of the ISA each year and close your account with L&G? I did this for 2008/09, paid in 4 x £50 it tracked but still waiting for the £85 payout. Intrigued that I can try the same trick again this year ....

Done it at 110 for the last 2 years, was wondering whether to go for 85 now or wait and see if they put it back up again - then again it might disappear altogether.

Think I did quidco year 1 and cashbackkings last year so maybe topcashback this time?
    I think....
