My sentiments entirely re cleaning! I'm still trying to get a grasp of my new kitchen. I haven't found places to put everything yet. I seem to have too many things that are too big for the depth of the drawers and cupboards. I think I need to do some more throwing away.

It is FAB, but still paying for the extension bit, hence enthusiasm to get back to my OS ways and saving money on the catering. Having the new kitchen/living/dining room has made such a difference. I just love cooking again.

Is it hob space you need or oven space, or both? I elected to have 2 full size double ovens in one unit, as it was oven space when batch baking etc that I had a problem with. The hob is 900, but the same number of hobs is done in the 700mm width, just closer together.

Are there any more doors into the room other than the back door and the one next to it?

what DO you mean... "not tidied up" WHAT?!! tis way tidier than mine!!!!!!! Tis gorgeous!

will you be stuck for storage space if you remove the cupboards next to the cooker to slot a new cooker in?

    JCR your kitchen looks lovely
there is absolutely no way i could post pics of mine it would take me a week to clean it up first!!!!!!!!
mine is very small and square shaped with hardly any cupboards or workspace, it has two windows that are fitted well below the worktops so i cant even open them and loads of bits and muck end up under the worktop and over the window ledge its a real pain i can tell you!!!!!!!!!
    i have kitchen envy.
do you want to nip up to Scotland and give mine a bit of a tidy up for me?
good luck with the neighbour problem by the way.

reckon I should I should post pics of my kitchen... I have nowhere near the size of kitchen as you two! nor as tidy!

I think JCR, if you are going to fit a new cooker in AND have to rearrange the cupboards.. then I would be tempted to do a complete rearrange to fit everything in - could you have a "u" shape where the table and chairs is or is there a doorway?

Yeah, that's why I asked about doors in the kitchen. We used to havetoo many doors to do anything in our first kitchen!

we used to have 3.. the middle of one wall... the middle of another wall and the corner of the other two walls... was a nightmare!!! We blocked one up and the kitchen is better now but it would be nice if we had more storage space...
