Hi Rog,
Presumably they don't keep them, they must be surrendered as and when they've got a reasonable amount.  Or after the bankrupt has been discharged?
Maybe JCS can answer that one!!
I forgot about ours and only remembered them when I went for a quick look at the Rembrandts and other treasures.:D
Rich
They get surrendered within a day or so of being received, even the £1 and £5 ones which you could argue where not worth the time/effort/stamp.0 -
I saw a job in the Sunday Times that I have to apply for: Chief Executive of JobCentrePlus -Boy do I have some ideas for them!!!“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

Do the BR restrictions on working as a spy and other such jobs apply whether you are discharged or not? Looking for career change and MI5 sounds like the place for me :rotfl::rotfl:2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)

Just looked at the application procedure on MI5's website. They do a "Deep Vetting" of applicants including checks with credit reference agencies! I can't even get a credit card let alone join MI5! "Bond, Premium Bond"
Might be able to work for MFI though...
I doubt it - didn't they go BR too???0 -
Yes they did!
