Just looked at the application procedure on MI5's website. They do a "Deep Vetting" of applicants including checks with credit reference agencies! I can't even get a credit card let alone join MI5! "Bond, Premium Bond"

Erm, not unless you bring them back out of liquidation :rotfl:BSC No: 2450 -
But wouldn't we all fit into countries like Iceland and Ireland so easily?0

Just because they check, does not mean that it cannot include you! They just need to know everything about you (unless it also says no BRs or debtors!)
Go on! Apply. You know you want to....0 -

Might be worth trying the KGB.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Count yourself lucky if you've still got any premium bonds, MM - I had to give my one Premium Bond to the OR.
Wonder what will happen if it ever comes up for £1million.:rotfl:

Hi Rog,
Presumably they don't keep them, they must be surrendered as and when they've got a reasonable amount.  Or after the bankrupt has been discharged?

Trouble is, Rich - mine was sitting on top of the 54" Plasma TV - it had actually fallen out of the 'Ming' vase that I had tucked it in.
