You could offer to accept £12 if he pays by cheque or bank transfer, thus saving you Paypal fees.

You can then safely send the item by the cheapest postal method possible.

You are still slightly out of pocket but not by enough to be worth all the hassle of non paying buyer etc.

I blocked him earlier! I would like to relist now, but i guess that aint safe for me is it? while the dispute is open? I can't see anywhere how long he's got to respond?

No you shouldn't really relist until this is resolved. He has 7 days to respond after the dispute is opened. If he doesn't respond to the mutual agreement you can close it and recover your fees, then relist with a relist credit. If hes clever, he will not agree to the mutual agreement. If that happens youve lost
your fees and cant really do any more to pursue him, except civil action of course.

You could try to sell to the next highest bidder or accept the £12 and just stick it in the post without post paid!

My eBay feedback is 511, so I am not new to the game, but I have to say I have gone off eBay lately, the end-value fees are too high and there are too many rogues around.

i would wait until the 7 days are up for the mutal, i think if the buyer doesnt respond you can close with a mutal and get your fvf? then i would offer to second highest bidder and give them however long to respond if they dont buy then relist

who is he? just so we can all add the **** to our BB lists.

Ooo tell me aswell via PM.
I want to block people like that.
It seems that since recent changes in ebay Policy sellers are really scuppered sometimes, whilst buyers are happily bidding, not paying and not receiving negative feedback anymore. That really grates on me.
I used to relly enjoy selling, now when someone doesnt pay or I hear nothing I am filled with dread and anger!

Then of course item gets lost en route and seller has to refund in full anyway

  • I ended up sending a second chance offer yesterday, which was only 1p lower! and that guy paid immediately :) The 1st guy still has not replied to the cancel transaction though :( It's been 8 days since auction ended now, and i wish i'd just waited and opened up a NPB dispute now :(
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
