    Just to carry on from my original post, I think he's also referring to what Capital One when they give deposit accounts and like the old MBNA Sub-Prime one with the 100 limit/deposit.....

    They do not exisit anymore, the nearest you get is a PAYG type, as originally mentioned.

    I had a PAYG CC. When I read the OP thats what I thought off initially.

    I think that a PAYG CC seems the best option. Its pretty much the same thing anyway.
    I know my spelling is shocking :eek: It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

    Quite agree.. N.I.D made a valid comment nothing more to have somebody coming back with comments of thick is not acceptable.
    Secured cards are NOT available in the UK anymore although Bank of Cyprus will issue one in certain cases.
    Seems THICK to me to want to give someone loads of money in advance for a credit card just for CRA purposes when lots of catalogues ..Jd williams and the like will do the samefor free :confused:
