Oh and I forgot to add that anyone who has ordered something before the change MAKE SURE that you get the trebled amount awarded to you.
Im going to have a read over any new t&c but im pretty sure they cannot change the value of points and not award you the same value in any subsequent change of system.
Dont just let them away with it!0 -
I can't believe how bad Pigsback is now! I was only 100 points away from a Boots voucher - do they even do Boots vouchers now! I've already closed 2 of the family accounts before coz it was so crud, last account just waiting for last voucher! Grrr!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

Am I the only one that thinks it's ok? I think sme of you are getting ruffled far too easily. Even with the points increase PB is still far greater than ALOT of similar sites, especially survey sites. Add to the fact that isn't even a fair comparison as survey sites tend to, or atleast should, in theory, accumulate more points as PB is really competition based.
I'm surprised they didn't do this a long time ago. I never treat PB as a cashback site as there are much better cashback sites, the free points have been very slim for a long long time now, way before what's occurred recently with the points change. To me it's always been a competition.0 -

I've just had this CT. Hope it works for OP, but Curly seems to be back to the selective CT's again

Yay that worked for me....haven't looked into all the site yet but looking at the forums on there it seems the Irish are not to happy about the changes either. I guess it just means it'll be a little more complicated in working out who has the better cashback options...looking forward to seeing their pending page though!2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
Hi.
I e-mailed Curly to ask why the points for clicks was still just 5 points and this was their reply:
" Although these Featured Offers have not trebled in PiggyPoints, members will be receiving a higher quantity of these each week. We understand a high number of members depend on these to bring their PiggyBank balance up therefore we aim to provide members with as many Featured Offers as we can".
So far I've had four so they are being true to their word - let's hope it lasts.
When I first saw the changes yesterday I thought they had tripled the points as a '4th Birthday' treat - how stupid am I?- then I realised the rewards values had tripled too so I suppose there is no real difference to how it was before, and it is a cashback site with points for purchases plus a few extra chances to win points with easy questions, which other sites do not offer.
I'll be sticking with it because I have had some success in the past but I hope they reinstate some of the quizzes which appear to have stopped,eg entertainment & spotlight.0
