See how PB have trebbled the points making us think they are giving us more but then the cost of vouchers and other rewards have also gone up in price by 3 times - do they think we are stupid????????????0

Am just waiting to claim a reward that I particularly want and then I am off. Have been fed up with PB for a while but have stuck with it because I was so close to a £10 voucher. Just got to wait for it to be in stock now !!0

I've just had a quick read back and am a bit surprised at people's anger seeing as nothings really changed. Each previous point is now worth 3 points and the rewards value has trebled also, so you need to do just as much to get a voucher as you did beforeSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

But, Melvis, the CTs' value hasn't increased. The quiz prizes recently came down from 2000 points to 1000. The opportunities for "earning" points have become few and far between. The fun part of Racecaller has gone for most people.
I'm no apologist for the pig, but I do think that PB is having to adapt its offer to the harsh realities of life, in which ITV is almost bust, and 80% of commercial radio is making a loss or running at breakeven. The advertising revenues just aren't there, and PB relies upon companies' advertising budgets to fund all that it does and all that it offers.
Assuming that one day some semblance of what, a few months ago, was passing for normality will return, then we could expect PB to become more fun again.
But as it is, the management have a duty to keep the company alive and its employees in jobs. For those reasons, I'll probably keep clicking on the competitions, though it's true to say that I haven't bought anything through PB for years.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
The CT value may not have increased but I've had 4 CT's since yesterday so doing better on that score already. As someone said earlier, they don't have to offer free points/quiz prizes etc it's an added bonus from them. I earn a lot of points via shopping etc, freebies just make it a little easier to get to voucher timeSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

Ah, well there are better cashback sites for shopping, I believe.
I eventually had three CTs, so sort of normal. I suppose you could argue that I had to make three clicks instead of one, and spend a bit more time on it.
It's good practice business-wise to make us click on three (or four) pages rather than one, and I'm rather surprised that they have put one of the quizzes on the home page, reducing the clicks by one.
But ... the daily quiz prizes are still halved.
