You may be able to amend the names (altho no need to) but you wont be able to amend the date as the saver rates are non refundable/exchangeable etc

  • Has anyone else had numerous problems with the site when trying to book rooms? Me and my family are going to a wedding near stanstead later this year and I managed to find 3 rooms for 2 nights, 2 of the rooms at £9 and 1 at £19 per room per night. When I got to the booking page it let me do everything then threw out my booking and made me start again, by this time one of the £9 rooms became a £32 room so it's ended up costing me over £40 more than it originally said. I did the same the last time there was a sale on and on a number of the bookings I tried to make it kicked me out after I'd entered my details to make the payment. I just think it's unfair once you have the rooms in your basket and you're making payment that it then looses the room you're booking and then charges you more money.
  • Can anyone confirm that there were no £9 rooms in London at all for any dates. I did a search in the early hours this morning and they were all £19.

I did book two nights in london for £19, which im still very happy with. Shame I couldnt get them for £9 though.

I looked a little time ago and no £9 rooms. Some at £19 but mostly only one night so if want more than night it would be £19 + a much higher price for the second night. The 2 nights seem to be London Farringdon and a few other choices but from 1/11/2009.

    Good luck!

    From the website:

Can I amend a Saver or Sale rate booking?

You can amend your saver room subject to availability of the same room rate (and room type) at the same hotel. It is not possible to upgrade your room type or room rate. You can make the following modifications to a Saver / Sale rates booking using the Modify your booking option on the website. Amendments must be made in advance of the date of stay as follows: £29,39,49 and 59 rates 7 days in advance, £19 rates 21 days in advance. You can change the room type or date of arrival for a £5 booking amendment fee. You can increase the length of stay by purchasing additional nights for the same rate. You can reduce the length of stay but will not receive a refund for the nights no longer required. All amendments are subject to availability at the time of amendment

When the sale first went on this morning I was looking for them as well. I could only find the £9 rooms on a few dates at the Fulham one. Other London hotels were £19 or above apart from one date (Sunday 29th November). The choice for £9 rooms in London seemed greatly restricted compared to earlier sales.
