It's cheaper to call their geographical 0161 number than the 0870 number. The 0161 number would be just £0.15 in total, the 0870 being £0.38 in total for a 5 minute call.

Tootsie Roll, you are wrong, OK? 0870 numbers cost more to call, especially as most people on this forum are with providers that give them free or very cheap 01 and 02 prefix calls.

That's why there is awebsite dedicated to providing alternative numbers for 0870 ones.

I was trying to help the OP and save them money.

I don;t know why you had to turn it into a personal attack on me, but I could really do without it right now.

Tootsie Roll hardly has anything nice or correct to say about anyone. T Roll is usually trying to undermine Harrassed from what I have seen.
To be honest T Roll is not all that knowledgeable in most arguments made and I personally have seen them proved wrong on several occassions, But have yet to see them post an apology.

Skintchick keep up the good work and may i suggest you do not drop to Trolls level, Just ignore them. :beer: :beer:
