    Good afternoon all!

Late for me today....was in a rush this morning, had a spare few minutes then younger DD spilt orange juice all over the floor :mad: so had a bit of mopping up to do!

    Anyway...

Happyyyyy Birthday Yorkshire Belle, hope you are having a lovely day!!

Today it is mostly raining. Luckily no washing to do!

    So far....

    - Checked online banking (2 small chqs paid in have cleared :T so will make it to pay day! :j)
    - Heating off last night and this morning
    - Packed lunches made and eaten (after boiling a rubber egg last night - DD put a rubber egg with the real eggs and I fell for it - boiled it, left it in fridge overnight with 2 others, got them out this morning - cracked & peeled 2, went to crack the third - and it bounced!! :rotfl::rotfl:They got me good & proper!)

    - Tea from freezer
    - Making shopping list for tomorrow in conjunction with meal plan for next week
    - finish clearing out scary drawer (started yesterday - :eek:cant believe what I found that I thought had been lost forever lol!!)
    - Finish shredding (bit more left to do but drawers are lovely and sorted)
-Get sorted for car boot sale on Sunday (please dont let it rain!)

Have a good afternoon/evening all xxxxx

((((hugs)))) to Pips mum and grrrrr at nasty lodger
  • Thanks for all the birthday wishes - having a lovely day!
DS3 (who's 10) went with his big brother to get me a present with his own money and tried to buy me a bottle of wine :rotfl:. He realised it a) cost more than he had and b) he read the notice and realised they wouldn't sell it to him, so he bought me some sachets of instant cappaccino instead :rotfl:That was a surprise!
The unsurprising one is OH who managed to stump up 2 digestives and a cup of tea ( well, bless, - he went to SPAR for a card at 10:30 last night )

Mogchops I'm with you on finding things you thought you had lost forever. DS2 & 3 had mislaid their DS s (IYSWIM!) but lo and behold when I helped them to tidy their bedrooms they turned up. Thank goodness, because OH was going bonkers at them being lost, understandably.

Turned out quite nice here today but forcasting heavy rain for tomorrow so off to finish hokey cokey. Isn't it amazing when the DSs tidy their rooms the washing basket suddenly gets full. I could swear I'd washed some of these clothes recently...........

How are you tomatoes getting on - mine have two sets true leaves now as well as seedling leaves but they are very small still .

    Walked home with muttlet.
Phone old mobile phone contract (due to finish soon) and the nice (O2) lady helped me reduce the contract this month, told me to phone back next month to reduce it again - and then I can cancel it and pay off the final bit forever :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

Well done sophiesmum! I didnt even remember til this afternoon that I have sw tonight doh!

Fay, do the plants arrive in one piece?! Do you send them via anything special? Do they last even in 1st class? My surprise squash may not be a squash, the seedling leaves are not remotely the same as the ones on the packet....hmmmm may have to take a pic and get some opinions....

And yay have managed to get some money that was owed to me - £600ish - so am now on the look out for a cheap banger lol. Ive only had 3 years to save up for a car *smacks self on head*
