When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Good morning lovely dfw's
,:D Hope you all have a lovely day today. Quiet day at work for me today, then free meditation class this afternoon with the oldies.
Hugs to anyone feeling poorly or down, hope you feel better soon.
Today I will

Good morning all!
I'm back again - if anyone noticed I'd not been here;):rotfl:
Had a rough week lst week - my lovely sister took my girls away to stay with her. After getting steroids I started to feel sooo much better and this week I feel more my usual self, thank goodness, I've been in pain for weeks:o
Still no luck with the hospital, after they cancelled my scan I thought an urgent request from my doc to the Gastro dept would work, but no, they still haven't done anything! Just releived it's on the mend now:D
I've not been too bad dfw-wise, not my best though so need to get back into it, I did buy a car on Tues haha:eek: Off to hopefully pick it up today - nothing new, an X-reg Ka to replace my rubbish P-reg Corsa. I was always goin to buy a car last year when ex and I sld the house, but I resisted, so think I've done ok to wait this long:p
Anyway, here's a list for today....- scratchcards...nearly at payout
- parcel up ebay sales
- dig out more stuff to sell on ebay
- Photograph stuff that's waiting
- Check banking and move TCs to spending account
- pay £1250 on car eeek:eek:
- Cinema with girls- take drinks and sweets from Mr T's, wont buy them there
- ironing
- return work shoes to Next that I bought (and love, but am being good:o)
- read paper onlinecome back here to pinch some fab ideas:A
I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

This silly girl miscalculated the fact that her loan payment was already OUT when she paniced about her bank and her DD's - DOH - and so managed to pay a wee bit extra from the moved across money to the loan - what a nana - so now its 1000 - x

Morning SM and all you other small DFW's!
Fay - long list today...I know that very very broke feeling...payday in a weeks time and I'm counting the days!
Milly - glad to hear you are feeling better.
Just a quick list as I should be leaving the house in ten minutes and am still not fully dressed. Hairdresser coming to Mums this morning so am having hair trimmed. Cue drive to mums with head down low so no-one see's me in all my early morning, non hair washed glory!!
* Storecupboard dinner and lunch at mums
* Charge mobile at work
* Washing at 30'c and airer drying (line dry if stays dry out!)
* Ironing...ahem...still not done from earlier in the week
* Do any surveys that come through
Thats it for today!

- Move money from ISA to pay final balance on Pips Naming Ceremony.
- Investigate in wilkos and Mr Ts for tiny cheap vases for mini posies for Naming Ceremony.
- Sotrecupboard tea
