Quite a good day today. OH spent £1.99 on bread and a couple of other things. I had a no spend day! So happy! :D

Oh dear - it's all gone a bit wrong. Sort of. But the "no spend" is certainly out of the window!

I have just used QuidCo....

    However...I have used it to

    a) Switch energy supplier - hopefully saving £166 per year (but we'll have to watch this space on energy suppliers I know) I have gone to green electricity anyway which was an important decision for me.

    b) Bought two Dermalogica skin products - which aren't cheap at all but they are brilliant for my skin and will last months (you don't need a lot)...plus I will get money back via Quidco (if all goes to plan!).

Buying the skin products is a real extravagance but I am literally scraping the last bits out of cut open tubes...! :embarasse

    Not bad, but most unnecessary!!

£1.50 Park and Ride for a course which was the wrong one - so turned around and came home!!
    0.40 - Paper for OH
£10.20 - for light up in the loft - unnecessary I know, but need it to be able to go up loft and have a rummage to see what I can sell on e-bay, so an investment (sort of!!)

£4.49 on hose connection for garden - totally unnecessary at this moment in time as it is persisting down and has been for the last 2 days!!!

    Total for day = £16.69
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:
