Well I've had to spend money today and it was not pleasant :(

A small trip to ASDa cost me £14.62, all things needed and lunch for at least three days bought for. Also needed a birthday card and stamps so that was £3.55.

Total £18.17 and that's me for today.

Have a great day everyone :j

Well I'm being good this week and have brought my lunch to work again. :D

I'll need to buy something for dinner - maybe stuff for a spag bol so I guess will have spent about £5 by the end of the day.

Apart from newspapers for work that come out of my business account (and therefore don't count!) I am spending nothing today.

I have my lunch with me, but I'm off to the movies tonight so £3.50 (Orange Wednesdays, yay!)

I just had a conversation with a work colleague and discovered that he's a big fan of MSE too, so funny that we never knew :)

I haven't sorted out what I'm doing today yet, so not sure if/what I'll spend. I know the aim is normally not to - but I've been so lethargic that it might turn out more positive for me to get out of the house and go do something! (even if it means a small spend)

Btw - if there are any board mods about, there are two 8/3 threads and the other one has asked to be merged to this - would be a shame to miss out on posts from ScottishSpendaholic and co if it slips down the board.

Off work with a bug :( so no spending for me!
  • Nothing so far today, heading towards my first no spend day of the week. However, I do have a job interview tomorrow so may need to pop out to buy a new shirt. Need to examine my existing offerings before I decide, may go with what I have as the suit will cover it all at the end of the day. Any opinions or advice anyone?

UPDATE: Decided to go out to Matalan and grab a new shirt, as I fugured that would be one less thing to worry about tomorrow. Also, as I have another job interview next week, it seemed very worthwhile. It cost a whole £4 - though I did grab another jacket whilst I was out there, which came to another £12 (though I desperated needed something, my existing coat was coming up to ten years old I think, and starting to get 'comments' from friends if I was forced to go out in it). Total spend is £16... :j
