best way to make poached eggs - in the frying pan with water instead of oil. deep enough to almost cover, and spoon the hot water over the egg. yum.0

Excellent egg method - but I also love baked eggs. Butter a ramekin per person, break the egg into it, season lightly, add a spoonful of cream if you like, then either put in medium oven in a roasting tray with 1/2" of hot water round the ramekin, or put the ramekin into a Remoska. Cook until it's done as you like.
Just remembered another treat - fishfinger sandwiches on white bread with mayonnaise and a hint of lemon juice. Food for the gods!
DD wishes to add the following:
1. tomato soup and pasta together!! mmm..
2. a frozen apple muffin straight out of the freezer, just try it! (homemade obv!) yes!!!0 -
Boiled egg chopped up in a cup with butter and chunky black pepper, eaten with a teaspoon and accompanied by a slice of bread - heavenly. A simple tuna and cuc' sandwich (the only thing I'll eat if I have a migraine). Cheese and jam on a white bap, with a cup of hot sweet tea. I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
Nothing quite as satisfying for me as day-old curry (kept in the fridge) reheated and served with rice.
