Was it the Hair & Body Wash you bought?

Thanks for the info. I was going to pick some up today but couldn't remember whether it still worked or not.

Boots own nappies are still 2 packs for £7.50. The sign had been removed but the SA price checked this for me.

It is worth having a second AC which you don't use. For the third time I managed to get a 75points on a £10 spend coupon on my Grans card. I used handed over the voucher with my AC. They obviously give better deals to tempt her to spend (it ain't going to happen, she died in Jan!!!!).

Pixi photos are in Boots tomorrow so I may go back and also spend my No7 voucher. I don't know if anyone realises but when the Pixi Photographers are there you get Ad points when paying for the photos as the payment goes through a Boots till, you can usually use extra point coupons too.

What did I do wrong today?

I bought £22 of followon baby milk and organix baby snacks to get a £6 pack of sleepsuits free from the mini essentials range. So got my £5 voucher. Then went and picked up 2 x 8.50 firm your body balm. Had to pay £3.50 & gave in my 250 points from the lilac bag. When I gave her the lilac bag to scan after the body balms she said it wouldn't. It did and the till bit that I could see showed link save but she showed me her screen and it said gift threshold not met.

come on champion bootsers tell me where I went wrong please!!

Hello all.. not been to boots in ages.. as its my mum's b/day this week I decided to have a mooch to manchester - market st to see what was on offer... wish I hadn't bothered!

Plenty of summer organisers - upstairs not near normal No.7 stuff.. Got one of these as I had a £5 off voucher.. grabbed a few other items.. did my sums wrong.. I'd only spent £9.57 so didn't get another £5 off voucher... AND I forgot the lilac bag :( (these were downstairs being guarded by the No.7 ladies) totally forgot about it!!

Then I tried to exchange an unused TD face balm as the one I had used at home had irritated my skin - wanted to swap for another TD item and pay the difference.... but I got the crabbiest of crabby SA's, wont bore you with the details but was highly shown up.. and didnt get exchange!!

    Hi banana1975 :)

See Post 2 for info on Boots returns policy.

A tip in this case is to return the items in two visits. This way you should be able to exchange the goods for twice what you originally paid for them.

Also, if you get served by a crabby SA, they may kick up a fuss about "these were on BOGOF recently" anyway and take it upon themselves to deduct the second item.

Took them back today to a smaller store that does not sell DR and they gave me a cash refund even though I had no receipt. SA went I will say that you had it and then I can give you back the cash!!!

Also managed to pick up some reduced goodies

2 X Soltan travel sets with 3 pouches of sun cream BOGOF reduced to £1.24
2 X Huggies wipes reduced to 56p plus voucher for 150 points from Parenting Club
2X Med range bubble baths - free with parenting club voucher. SA tried to tell me not to bother using buy one get one free voucher as already on this offer asked her to scan and she could not believe that then got them both free.
4 X reduced baby food 15p per jar
    so £3.26 for the lot!

Also got a response from my e-mail back last week in regards to a complaint and have been advised that they are sending me a gift card and also adding some points to my card - result!!

I had an eventful day in the Wakefield Boots yesterday with my sister.

We intended on getting 2 organisers and 2 lilac bags each, 1 for each of us and the other to give as a gift.

Even though I read this thread every day I still made loads of mistakes!

    1st transaction
N07 organiser + lilac bag + EI handwash
    total £11.65 - £5 voucher I already had

I was convinced I would get another £5 voucher as I thought it worked like the bodyform but no, very disappointed and the Sa couldn't refund it and do it again differently as she said the £5 voucher was void after going through the till the 1st time

    2nd transaction
N07 organiser + lilac bag + EI handwash + meal deals etc
total £16 odd to pay:eek: but did receive a £5 voucher.

Sister, having watched me make a mess of mine, also made a mess of hers!!!
Long story cut short, she also missed out on another £5 voucher due to doing her sums wrong.

    I wasn't very happy so I thought up a good plan ;)

Took the organiser back with original reciept that didn't show me using a £5 voucher and only then realised they don't refund on makeup! Sa was very nice though and asked manageress who said it was at her discretion ;)

Till said refund me £15 but she amended it to £9.99 lol well you can't win them all!

Best of the bestest thing was ... she didn't ask me for my lilac bag back
    yippee!

So I went back upstairs, got another organiser ( shaking with nerves by now and certain camera is trained on me!) and another lilac bag and paid with my voucher, Success!!!

So ended up with 2 organisers and 3 lilac bags plus meal deal and 2 handwash + 4 tan wipes ( she only scanned three) + toothpaste etc etc for under £20!

i obviously had the look of a bootscammer today! i went into a store i have never been in today and went straight to AC machine. then proceeded and bought 4 no 7 colour pallets @ 9.99 1 lipgloss @ 9.99 and 5 lilac bags. my basket was full with this and then i asked if there were any shopping trolleys, told no but i could leave my stuff behind the counter while i continued shopping. i then got some mouthwash, hairdye (not the 3 for 2) and some diet cherry coke and proceeded to the tills to be met by a crabby SA in the queue and told me to go to the no 7 counter. oh no! i then was told i could not get all the bags with the 5 items i had bought (own up north east boots fanatics which of you have done this store over!!) i said no problem i was going to buy stuff to put with it. i wanted to return some stuff. a young lad who classed himself as a manager was there, along with a no 7 girl and two other crabby sa's were also on hand. i was foaming! anyway to cut a long story short the no 7 girl was not happy that the manager put everything through on his till number as she did not get it towards her quota! i had 4 separate transactions and they robbed me of 325 points. i had to put 2 pallets through together to get the lilac bag and some wipes with the lip gloss. wont go into too much detail. they refused to accept the £1 vouchers off bodyform towards the freebie £5 voucher so i added the hair dye into this transaction ( will be taking everything back later for a refund anyway in view of the way i was treated) i also was annoyed that i had 3 danielle ryman items m
    Just about to give up!
