So.... is it wrong that sometimes I swap things I got from Boots in "deals" for other things I want/need later on? What's the general opinion on this?

    Please be nice!

I think i would be too nervous to do it, but if you have the guts then I don't see the problem. Boots is a big company, if they are so slack that they let you get a full price refund - then thats their own fault!

No so much getting a full refund when paying say- 1/2 price. More like... exchanging something you may have got for... mmm.. free (eg. with vouchers, etc) with something of equal value.

Eg, time delay hand cream £5 (obviously free a while ago) - for £5 worth of shampoo - for example.

I know this is very cheeky, so I want to know everyones take on it...

we are still posting the glitches - u r not being ignored! just aren't many around at the moment unfortunately. just that where we r now we chat about everything, what we've been up to etc & is some really personal stuff on there which is why we don't really want people we don't know really well on there. most of the chat not about boots at all. we tried to move the non boots chat to the arms but they closed that down too so we found proboards where we can only let in people we know so feel safe to post photos etc. without worrying that we are offending anyone or that people are knowing everything about us while we know nothing about them. sorry if u feel like a reject chelle that is not our intention. i hope u can understand.

anyway back to boots b4 i get told off & banned from mse altogether. kylie,
i think lots of people return things for full price when they paid less. i only did it once & felt bad so i think it's really up to you & your conscience! they can sell them on again for full price i suppose so not a huge loss to them. hope this helps.
Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!

I do this - I'm still not sure that it's actually right though. But overall I spend so much at boots, (mainly nappies!!), that I think I give them way way more than I get.

I think if you have the 'Front' to take it back to some of those 'difficult' SA's, good for you!
If its unopened/unused and they'll exchange it for something you'll need or use and you can do it.................why not?
Boots will be able to sell it on at a later date. It's cheeky, but hey not illegal.

    I bought 2 insect repellents last week @ £6.59 each (I think).
When I went to a larger Boots at the weekend I noticed on the SEL 3-4-2.
I took back the 2 sprays to original shop with receipt and complained they had no shelf labels (still hadn't) for 3-4-2's. They guy hummed and arred, said I should have picked up the 3rd one when I bought them. I argued how was I to know if it didn't say it under the product...........................and he gave me the free one!
I felt cheeky but it worked so was very pleased with myself. £6.59 is £6.59!!!!

Re: All the "reject" talk: All just a bit of fun!!! ;) But thanks for letting us know. :o Of course we understand.

Yeah - not sure about returning things - only when I can't give them away. I will have to think about it.
