Shall we talk about Boots for a change, rather than argue?

I got the voucher for free cod liver oil today, which is really confusing, as on the ACM it says it's completely free, yet on the actual voucher it says "free with a purchase of any vitamins or herbal medicine" (or something like that anyway!

The ACM let me print out three vouchers!!! (But sadly, no more of those lovely 500 point ones.) So, naturally, I decided to try them all!

I got 3 oil bottles, thinking that 1 would come off automatically as they're 3 for 2. Well, it didn't - and the whole thing was a bit of a nightmare!

I was lucky as I picked a young bloke SA who I know is very good at putting vouchers through. Anyway, the first one he tried just bleeped and didn't work, so he had to do them all separately and void the prices. It took absolute ages though, in a non-airconditioned Boots, with a huge tutting queue behind me! :rolleyes:

(Am seriously thinking of writing to the store manager to tell them what a great SA that boy is - he's very friendly and patient with Boots-obsessed women like me - did someone here once say that the SAs get something if a customer praises them? )

yes it would be nice to write and say that you had a pleasant shopping experience.All to often its only the complainers who contact the store so i am sure that it would be nice for them to get a nice letter for a change
