Hi Zoe,

I did 3 seperate transactions with the Brita filter as the 500 points coupon states one per transaction. I had to go to a bigger branch of Boots during my lunch to print the coupons to use at a smaller branch after work (no machine). Really strange as I am only ever able to see the Brita 500 points coupon in 1 out of 3 branches I go to with machines.

In my local branch I often get a 75 points on a £10 spend but other branches I only get £100 points on a £15 spend. Doesn't seem to be a set pattern.

I thought that the 500 points were for the whole system not the filters... so how does it work?

Luz......its another glitch. The 500pts is for the water filter system....and the filters are going through on it too. HTH

There used to be one of these stores in the MacArthur Glen outlet village in Swindon but it closed a couple of years ago. It was v. good - lots of kitchen equipment and children's toys particularly. Not so much in the way of toiletries or cosmetics from what I remember. I did get some good bargains there and they still gave Advantage Points on purchases - hurrah!

I hope the new one is as good. I don't know why ours closed, but I guess that's life.

You'll have to report back and tell the rest of us .what it's like

Hi Zoe, Should be in bed but I am a a bit addicted to Boots and this thread. At one of the branches of Boots I go to the Brita cartridges I have been buying are reduced to £2.25 each from original price of £4.50 each.

I can't check as i haven't received anything for ages!

I emailed Boots because I spent £11 something, then paid with some Bodyform vouchers and didn't get a No 7 voucher.

This was the reply:-

Thank you for contacting us about our 5 pound voucher offer that we have recently been running in store. I'm sorry to hear you feel the offer was misleading and you do have my sincere apologies for this.

When we run promotions in our shops, we make every effort to ensure the promotional material is clear and accurate. We don't want to mislead our customers in any way.

Unfortunately the store was correct by not honouring this voucher to you as there was not an exchange of cash for 10 pounds or more.

I have passed a copy of your letter onto our Sales Plan team, who have reassured me that they will raise your concerns during their next review, to prevent any further misunderstanding occurring in the future.

It came through the post for some card holders but not all.
