Pg76 of health&beauty mag has a full two page spread on 'are you on our mailing list?'. It says you can find out by calling 0845 124 4545 (advantage card team). I may be but never get a thing!

I never seem to get any mailings these days so I phoned them - they checked and said I was on the mailing list but each mailing is sent to a random selection of people. She did check how much I used the card (obviously a lot!) which seemed to infer that I should get mailings.

  • Well I went in Boots with my£5 voucher today and also had a 250points coupon from lilac bag for No7 stuff. Bought a mascara and some other bits totalling £10.50. However the 250 points voucher wouldnt go through- it was scanned but didnt appear on my receipt and when i queried it a supervisor said that it couldnt be used in conjuction with the voucher.

Weird as i am sure i did the same thing before

Have just been into Boots and bought Lync Click £2.19 + 100 points, Everyday Indulgence Soap £1.66 + 150 points, Mens 3 in 1 wash £1.50 + 50 points and a No 7 lipstick £8.50 + 250 points from lilac bag and used £5 voucher. Total came to £8.85 My receipt shows 8 points plus 550 extra points. I can see where the 500 points come from but cannot work out what the 8 points are for. Can anyone telll me how they work the points out? I thought it was 4 points for every £ spent unless you have vouchers, in which case I would have only got the 550 points as everything I bought I had points from machine.

I think you get normal points on the items that you have vouchers from the machine for.

I asked in store if they could explain but they said you only get extra points not normal points as well.

You get normal points relevant to the amount of cash you have handed over. HTH

I've been using the 250 points voucher with the £5.00 voucher and they've gone through fine ... but that said .... today when I tried the 200 points from the magazine on No7 products with the £5.00 voucher - it wouldn't go through.

As a few people have said on this thread .. the tills seem to have a mind of their own sometimes ... very strange

CS are good - if you called them they might add the points on for you:)

When i've used £5 vouchers before i'm sure I only get points on whatever I have paid, 50p for example.
