He was so nice on the phone and updated everything and even added 250 points on to my card for the inconvenience!

I went through the till in Liverpool city centre today and gave in my bunch of AC coupons to the cashier.

She scanned the lot without checking and I walked away. I glanced at my receipt and noticed that the 500 points for the Brita water system had gone on - and I didn't even buy it. I had intended to and didn't get time and because the coupon was in the middle of all the rest I genuinely forgot it was there and I handed it over - wayhay! I was sorely tempted to try it again but unfortunately didn't have time. If the SA doesn't read all the coupons you may get lucky and get 500 points for nothing! This has the potential of being a major glich! Here's hoping...

  • Nipped into our Boots once again, to see if they had any more organiser make up pallettes and they still havent got any in, and I asked the No7 lady on there, and she said she didnt kn ow when they were getting anymore in, but I did a few transactions and apart from 1 minor glitch, I have done rather well

    Trans 1
    Johnson baby wipes £2.69 x2 BOGOF £2.69
Boots easy up toddler pants £4.99 x2 £7.50 for 2

    Total to Pay £10.19
Plus handed in 75 points voucher for £10 spend
and got given £5 No7 voucher

    Trans 2 No7 Firm Body Balm £8.50 x2 BOGOF
    Lilac Bag Free

    Total £8.50
    Minus £5 voucher
    £3.50 to pay

Tried to give in 200 points voucher (tho i remember it doesnt work on suncare) and the lady on till(photo booth!!) was scrutinising everything and wouldnt take voucher. She was in 2 minds whether to put the £5 voucher thru when I told her it does work, I had used it last week on suncare and it went thru fine. She just said that sometimes it works and siometimes it doesnt. If that was the case, why not just try it and see??!!

Then I toddled off downstairs, as I had printed off the Boots condioner 50 points voucher, and picked up:
Tub boots ingrediants Camamile and lemon hair mask £1.99
Tub Boots ingrediants Coconut and almond hair mask £1.99 but free as BOGOF
Gift bottle of Orange Bath essence was £5.00, reduced £2.50
Gift Bottle Orange Bath milk was £5.00 reduced to £2.50
Evian Gift set was £7.49 reduced to £3.75

Total to Pay £9.06????? I thought it should ahve been over a tenner, and I wasnt quick enough to say to the lady (who was lovely aswell!!) could I grab some mens anti perspirant Right Guard, which was also reduced to @ £1.45 I think, I wastrying to figure out how I had counted up wrong by the time my card payment went thru, so i missed out on a nother£5 voucher.
On checking my receipt, the gift bottles, had actually gone down again to £1.66 each from originally £5 each! Make a lovely gift for someone, so glad I grabbed it!
The 50 points voucher for the hair masks, do indeed give you 50 points PER hairmask and not per transaction!

Summery: I spent £22.75, got £87 approx worth of goodies and 257 points and another £5 no7 voucher and another 250 points no7 voucher from lilac bag.

I Love Boots!! (My hubby reakons I have a boots problem and thinks Im obsessed!!!??? I cant think why!)

I do need to call them tho, as when I ordered online a couple weeks ago, I havent had my points added as yet, and its been nearly 2 weeks since I received parcel, so they owe me 203 points. Anyone else had this problem??
