Does anyone know if there's any Mother's Day Indulgence evenings in or around Liverpool?0 -
Took back a DR handmask and changed it for 2 no7 face sunthings, free lilac bag, 250 extra points and £1.50 change. I think the idea is to confuse the sa and you can get whatever you want! The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0

planetjanet wrote:I went through the till in Liverpool city centre today and gave in my bunch of AC coupons to the cashier.
She scanned the lot without checking and I walked away. I glanced at my receipt and noticed that the 500 points for the Brita water system had gone on - and I didn't even buy it. I had intended to and didn't get time and because the coupon was in the middle of all the rest I genuinely forgot it was there and I handed it over - wayhay! I was sorely tempted to try it again but unfortunately didn't have time. If the SA doesn't read all the coupons you may get lucky and get 500 points for nothing! This has the potential of being a major glich! Here's hoping...
This isn't a new glitch at all - if the SA will allow it, you can get most AC vouchers added even if you haven't bought the product.
(If the till won't accept the voucher, it will simply beep and you can feign ignorance!)
There is a slim possibility that Boots may withdraw these points later - as they were added in error - but that seems very unlikely.

Did you get the full amount back for the DR?

Loved karnam's pic! Had to do one of my own. Is it insanity/addiction or is it just impolite to not take all these sanitary towels off their hands when you're getting paid to do it?!0

Revlon Colorstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad - £5.99 with 300 extra points
Good quality stuff & helps to push that awkward suncare purchase just over £10!
Just wanted to add that if you received an easter mailing from Boots there was a load of money off /points vouchers one of which was for REVLON.The Colourstay 12 hour quad is included in the offer so an extra £2 off so that would make it £3.99 with 300 points..good buy i think
"Save £2 on any of the revlon featured products. Valid until 23/04/06"
products are :
Skinlights Face Illuminator Lotion - £9.95
