Hi im looking for advice. I used a claims company to reclaim PPI from past loans. The company simply sent out forms for me to sign relating to the bank where the loans originated. They did not disclose their fee or how long the process would take ( from start to finish took less than three weeks). I have been contacted by the bank direct and made an offer thing is this company now want to take 39% of the offer. Do I have any recourse with this? I think that their fee is daylight robbery. Do I have to pay them 39% of my compensation?

If this is true and the paperwork didn't include a legally binding contract for you to sign, then you may have a case. Unfortunately, it's far more likely you simply failed to read the forms properly and you will have to pay their fee (plus VAT).

I see di has had i bit of a time of it lately with tests, I hope you are keeping well Di and hope things get sorted. you and the gang on here was such a help to me with my PPI,and the chats and fun we had on here, hope you get better soon Di.
