The whole forum seems a lot quieter these days. Perhaps it's just that people want to go outside rather than sit at a computer all day?;)
Probably, I should think most have reclaimed the PPI by now and to be honest, this site has lost its "sparkle " its not as good as it was when it first started, too many critics on here and it does wear a bit thin.

I will still come on when I am not working though as I have made a few good friends on here and reclaimed literally thousands in PPI redress personally and I have helped hundreds reclaim the dreaded FP PPI.

So you will still have to put up with me I am afraid :p for a while longer :D

Personally, I think it's more due to the type of queries posted these days. As you say, I think the majority of those with legitimate mis-selling claims have already done so.
The posts we see now seem to be mainly from opportunists and people with historical claims for which they can provide no documentation or evidence. There are also a fair few trolls who post deliberately provocative threads.
Was it really only a year ago that the "Successes and Failures" thread had about twenty to thirty posts per day?

:D Funny you should mention niggly ;) he has not been on here for a long time now but last week he posted on the FPC forum, people with FP who claimed mis sell had the calculations worked out incorrectly and were owed more, as you know, niggly was the expert on the calcs :A he maintained at the time that FP were not working the redress out for people, especially those that had the cashback... lo and behold, FP are in the process of doing the redress again for these people :T
Sadly the FPC website has been closed, the members dwindled and Admin who set this site up with his own redress money cannot afford to keep it going :(:( seems like loads of the members took the valuable advice, got the PPI back and then did not come on the site to help with the battle of the interest rate scandal :(

Those of us that were left could not raise enough money to keep the site going plus there were legal fees for a case that went to court re the way FP raised interest rates as and when they wanted and this left, after the remaining members raised over 3,000, a short fall to pay the whole fee for the barrister, I think Admin paid this and I think it is disgusting that but for the fact Admin set this site up and helped so many people get PPI back and other stuff that the site has now had to close.

If all the members had stayed and contributed £1 a month to carry on the fight then it would not have been down to one man and a handful of members to get as far as the site did.

We are now on facebook, the fight is not over by a long shot, the OFT reprimanded FP but won't disclose what was imposed on them so the PHSO are now involved and other agencies too (can't go into too much detail on here), FP will be brought to book :j:j

:eek: That is a shocking story i didn't know the website had to close down how awful , it has helped so many people as well! What name is it under on facebook? Glad the battle with FP is still going on, they can't be allowed to get away with it ;);)

It is the usual FPC group, we have come on leaps and bounds since the site was set up, it is a shame it had to close.
