Dad is looking peaceful in the chapel of rest and it looks like he is just sleeping.;) Its defo a consolation to last week.

Hello everyone

Hope your all well.

As you will see I have been posting, cos I find it helps loads to keep going, and its what dad would want.

I do have something to say though and its brought great comfort to me, I know we all have our own believes but, over the last few months my washing machine have been playing up, it completed the full cycle until the final spin, we had to manually turn this, but yesterday the first time in ages it carried on.......:T, today have been the same too.
I keep telling myself its dad as a sign to say he is at peace.

And another thing too, even though I do understand its that time of year, but when sitting in the garden for chill and a think, and a sob, a white butterfly appears each time, again that brings me comfort.

A few days ago, tidying up mum and dad's garden, I kept expecting dad to walk through the door, so I sobbed then suddenly a Red Admiral butterfly appeared from my dad's water fountain.;)

I am glad you have found comfort in these things. Very strange about the washing machine.

I am taking MIL about tomorrow looking for houses near us so if I do not get on here I hope all goes as well as possible for Thursday.

It does help loads, especially the butterflies lol.;)

It is strange with the washing machine and its been working ever since :T (thanks dad).:D

Hope your MIL is okay Max and the best of luck with the house hunting for her, it will be better for you all this way, good luck.

Many people say they have seen butterflies in the same situations (also feathers) so I am sure your dad is keeping a very good eye on you.xx

Thank you Pinknico honey, your words have also brought great comfort to me.:A
Today, my hubby went to see dad at the chapel of rest as he did not get a chance earlier, and said how peaceful he looked. And again a big white butterfly was hovering around the bird table hubby made out of an old table dad gave to us, it was lovely.;)
