However, he is now receiving compensation here and there of what have been owed to them and he have been told there is more to come sometime in March.:T

Its taken a long time though, they did start getting dribs and drabs of payments about 2 months after liquidation from the insolvency service, but then big gaps, last week he had a lovely surprise and even bigger surprise when he learnt of this coming compensation next month.......:T, they all deserve it though.;) Yeah I will lend you a fiver hun:rotfl:
I could not cope with working on security to be honest, I'd be dropping off to sleep as well :rotfl:.
Yeah okay then they can sort out my tooth the same timelol.

Not sure yet, it depends on what he's like on the day.;)
When dad was 9 years old from school he worked on farms then from there he worked in coal mines, his interests were fishing, shooting, walking. In his spare time he was a driving instructor, I was only a little un then, and I used to try to stop him going out from the door, climbing up his coat screaming like a baby.
Dad worked to pay for his older brother uni........fees when he worked at the farm:eek:
My dad's family are farmers, yet mum's side are miners lol, and dad was doing each lol.;)
All my mates loved him, and use to come to our house while dad use to make up and tell us loads of stories, around his work time no matter how tired he was he always found time for us all, 8 of us kids and that is including my autistic brother who is on the severe end of autism, he can't talk at all, he is coming to his mid 40's now my one brother.
My oldest brother I think he will be 50 this year, will send you a pic of my bruv and wife by PM.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

How about taking your dad to a nature park for his birthday if he likes the animals?
8 Kids?! That's a hell of a lot! I guess there was no tv back then! :rotfl:All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0 -

Yeah he would love that, maybe that is something we will do when the weather gets warmer.:T
We have to carry his oxygen around with us and he is very dependent on that as well, but sitting down in between or maybe a wheelchair would help, he won't like the chair part of it, but sometimes we have no choice in the case of an unfortunate emergency "god forbid".
lol, our family is actually rather small compared to the rest of our family really, and I don't believe any of them had TV's in those days :rotfl::rotfl:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Ah true. Combine it with a barbecue. :T
I thought of the oxygen situation and most places have ramps and stuff to move around easier. Or you can get special rucksacks for the smaller ones that fit on your back. All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0 -

At home dad has a fixed Oxygen concentrator, one like this one here:

And of course the huge oxygen cannisters and the portable in a bag, very useful, as dad been in a unit for a while the cannisters they stopped delivering them for now, kept his concentrator there in case.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
