That is great showergirl:j She is at uni isn't she??

My son is still out of work but he has to do 13 weeks on one of the unemployment schemes. He had never been out of work since leaving school and then he took a modern apprenticeship but as soon as he reached 21 and they had to pay him a full wage (they were paying £80 a week for 40 hours) they got rid. He never gained his full level 2 and was only a month or two off. Its was really nasty of them. They have done it to so many too, He has been down and out of work since but now he is doing full time work on a scheme thing cutting hedges etc but getting an extra £15 on top of his dole money. I must say, he loves it. He is a different lad again.

:mad::mad:Don't get me started on apprenticeships!!! I had a really bad experience with one a few years ago! They need to be outlawed unless you can get paid at least minimum wage :mad::mad:

Congrats to you daugher, Showergirl, Well done for her :T:T:T

    Hi Showergirl

Try to rest up as well if you can hunni.:A

So sorry to hear of your mate at work though and relieved to hear she not lost her breast, I'm sure she will come through this just fine.

My sister was 31 she had a lumpectomy and mum 3 months before had a mastectomy, then dad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, they were all in-fact diagnosed 3 months of each other, but are all doing well now, its amazing what they can do these days.;)
    I wish your friend well.:A

It will be handy now that your daughter is working, great news that Showergirl.....:T:T:T
