He have been messed about terrible the last year, kept on list, had interviews then businesses have suddenly changed their minds and closed down......I know its been unfortunate for this to happen but a very bad year overall last year.

The steelworks he worked for before rang him in the week as well to ask if he is still interested.........and of course he is, but said they have not been given a proper date to start production, as a new company had bought this from when it went into administration.

This is another steelworks in the same district though, so that is cool.
They require 30, its temp for 3 months and it goes from there.

Please wish us luck, I could not hold back telling you any longer, simply because he have been let down a lot over the last year with false hopes.

Oh Di, thats brilliant news it will happen, how wonderful your husband will feel so much brighter. Its been a tough time for you and lots of people, we had lots of jobs cancelled last year lets hope everyones fortunes change. What a great start to the New Year. :T:T

Yes it does doesn't it?

They are taking on in 3 batches, apparently this steelworks who belong to Corus let too many go before, even though many were due for retirement anyway.
He only applied and sent CV online 3 days ago and they rang him yesterday to go for interview this morning.

Am praying this is the one now.;)

That's really good. The quicker they want to see someone, the sooner they want them to start! :cool: I had that with this job. Got phoned to be seen in the afternoon, got the job the next day and over 80 people went for it. Had to start 3 days later. :cool: Everything will work out just fine for you guys. :T X
