Just got off the phone to my mum and she has told me that she met a woman looking after a dog whose owner died, this woman was pregnant and said she was worried how the dog would react with a baby - so my mum said she would have him
He is ten years old and called Sam, he looks a bit like a goldren retreiver/labrador type dog and looks very sad in the picture I have seen!
I'm just worried how he is going to be with the cats! Mum said they were all upstairs and had been all day (so that means they are sulking because of the dog) None of them have ever seen a dog before and my mum is mental for taking him in (but I can't blame her - I can't bear to think of him being sad and lonely)
:A Hopefully he will like the cats and they will like him too (or at least ignore him)

Hi everyone.
Hope your all okay.:A
Have not posted much today, dad not been well again, doctor came out as well, its his breathing, so its to be arranged for the oxygen concentrator to be turned up again by that actual department who deals with these.
I helped set up his new nebuliser as the other one was not working like it was.
He was more settled when I left, fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks Marshallka;)
He falls a lot now as well, so he has been told to use the zimmer frame, his confusion does not help but they think it may be because his doctor have recently changed his medication as well, it may take a little while for the new meds to settle. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Not an easy time then. Meds are horrid to get used to.0 -

The Exelon he was originally taking was at 3.5mg, now moved up to 4.5mg, this is for is dementia, and with all the rest of the meds as well, he has nomads set up now which are delivered every week, as mum loses track with them, so this makes life a little easier.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Max
Thank you.:A
Unfortunately its an ongoing but on and off all year round issue for dad, its working down the coal mines why he has emphemsema, although he has steroids on a daily basis they also have to higher the amount now and again.
But he is also dependent on his oxygen as well, so can't go far without it.
Cheers hunni. XXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
