I spent all day in the kitchen baking when I read that you were coming to Glasgow thought you might have popped in for a wee cuppa tea.:confused::confused:

Oh well not to worry, pitched a wee stall outside some of the nightclub (thought that was the safest place, the drunks don’t know what they’re eating. The menu suited their taste buds, (Brandy flavour snaps, Alco pop cup cakes, whisky & sultana sponge,Morgan spiced muffins).Made a few quid for Christmas though. Ha ha :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you enjoyed the concert and the roads weren’t too bad for travelling. I’m delighted that Emma is on the road to recovery. :j :j :j

Lots of love and Best Wishes :D

    Thank you sharpdeath.

He calls me an old mother hen, and I probably get on his nerves, but maybe now he will listen........"I hope", but I did buy him one of those small zipped keyring wallets, another to hold some cash and you can tuck it away discreetly, do you think he would use it though?.

I just hope its a lesson learnt.

Hopefully he has learnt his lesson! :rotfl:If not, put him under the stairs for a bit and don't let him out until he's had a good think about what he's done! :D

The last 2 days with dad have been fab, and do you know what?

Its the best he have been in a long long time, he was actually have a conversation and was very logic, so it seems so far so good they have his meds right.
Mum have been overjoyed as well.:T:T:T

Its as if a miracle have happened, but again, must keep an open mind, dementia is a cruel thing to have but to see him like he have been the last few days have been wonderful.:j:j

Unfortunately we are supposed to be getting the snow again tomorrow, if this happens its awkward to get to see dad as its all high ground where he is and the roads are always treacherous, so am hoping to see him again later on.

    Hi Gerry,
Sorry didnt look you up when we were up in glasgow. It was very busy but we managed to do what we needed and get home safely. Then it was a quick turnaround to go back to The City Halls at Candleriggs, my friend had a few solos and was absolutely fantastic I could not stand on a stage and sing,.............. maybe karaoke after a few bifters:rotfl:

I love your entrepreneurial talent what a great idea, I hope everyone gave you good tips (of the monetary type and not of the glesga banter):rotfl:

Emma did a shift at work today and enjoyed it I cant believe what a turnaround in health there has been, thank you for sending me info on her illness that really helped me.

Husband and I off for a wee meal tonight to celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary.

What have you been up to hows your wee Dad doing? Hope you've been having a good time and that you are feeling well.
    Lots of love XXXX

I had gammon today as well! Love the stuff, my dad puts a mustard and honey crust on it. Yummy! Can't put pineapple on it though, it's like eating dessert with my dinner! :rotfl:I just can't eat sweet with savoury stuff together. :jGreat idea with the egg and chips though. Don't forget the tommy k. I'm going to try to do a paella this week as I have some sea food in the fridge.
