No worries. Is your son sure it was stolen and that the wallet didn't fall out of his pocket when he pulled some money out of it?All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

Arrrghhhhhhhhh, my oldest son went clubbing last night (Boxing night), kept his wallet in his front pocket and still managed to get his damn wallet stolen!!!
He had all his bank cards in it, his drivers licence, and about £30 left.
I told him before only to take money but nothing else, but they don't listen do they?
Of course he is now telling me I'm right!!!!
He rang me early hours to let me know this, I could not hear him, so asked him to text me, he done so and straight away I managed to get his cards cancelled with the bank, he had to then ring them back today to order more, which can take up to 5 working days, with his drivers licence this has to be replaced, its also been reported with the police, he is now waiting for someone to get back to him to give him a crime ref number to get so much off on a replacement licence.
Gutted, I do hope he will learn from this!!!
So sorry Di. It must be the time of year. My daughter was traumatised cause one of the "chavs" was 3 boys and 2 girls got a knife out only a pen knife but it stopped her fighting. My daughter had to report over the internet in the end as they did not get back to her when she phoned. She went to the police the night it happened outside the nightclub, they said that it was a frequent happening. They woould not take it seriously at the time cause they said that teenagers quite often used that story cause they had spent all their money and could not get back home. Bloddy useless if you ask me.
I hopoe he manages to cancel everything Di and hope he is ok.xxxxxxxxxxx:mad:0 -

Apparently the police got back to say there were a few incidents of the same kind last night in the same nightclub, which is why they want to investigate on CCTV.
He was only going on to his 2nd pint, but said he was walking through a crowd and being sandwiched, arms and legs everywhere, before he walked to the bar it was there, so this possibly happened when walking through the crowd, but you never know do you?
However, we have rang the club a few times today of any updates, even though we have given them our contact details, they confirm there have been many purses and wallets handed in, all emptied though, but nothing to my son's description, he had this personal wallet with name engravings on it.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Max, how are you?;)
Yes your daughter been through it as well bless her, it is like you said that time of year, people are skint and want the money.
Hope your daughter is okay now Max.:A
When he rang me last night, I managed to cancel all his banking details etc of the cards stolen etc, the police from both our area and in Newport when the club is have kept in touch today a few times, they have been really good.
I did actually ring the policy on Jamie's behalf early hours, they taken down a report, but Jamie had to deal with the main of it with them today.
Thanks Max.;)

Hopefully it will be found but from my eight years experience in the security industry, it will probably be found empty as you say.Whenever I'm going through a crowd or going on the underground, I also keep my hand on it to help. A chain is a good deterrent as well. Any more advice, give me a shout.

Thank you sharpdeath.
He calls me an old mother hen, and I probably get on his nerves, but maybe now he will listen........"I hope", but I did buy him one of those small zipped keyring wallets, another to hold some cash and you can tuck it away discreetly, do you think he would use it though?.
I just hope its a lesson learnt. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

This is what we are hoping will happen, because the same thing happened to my niece about 8 months back, it was in a different nightclub but in the same town, she had her handbag stolen but instead of wearing her bag whilst dancing she left it on the one side......., she reported it missing, the usual with the club and police, her bank cards, purse, car keys also moby and a bit of cash was left in it.
She was fortunate to have received this back not so long ago actually, everything was still in the bag apart from the cash, they emptied out the purse.
So yes it can happen, maybe not with the cash though, but would be good if it did get handed in.
When I first rang the nightclub early hours, they said to ring back about 3:30 am early hours, I did that and they said then to ring back about 11 this morning as they were still searching around for different things that people have rang up for.
He said its guaranteed the lost property pile is full everynight, unfortunately though not my son's wallet.
Time will tell I suppose.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
