Well done/Congratulations & best wishes to everyone who's had good news today ... and best wishes to everyone else too.....
I've been up to London today ... there was a chap in the ward next to me when I was in last time (same thing as me - NHL - he's only 40... 4 yrs older than me) and he was taken back into hospital with a heart attack yesterday:eek: So I thought I'd go and give him a dose of my naughty humour to help him recover / send him on his way (it's the Dr Paul 'kill or cure' approach!!!).
Flip it's cold out there..... no wonder it's called a Brazillian (and not a Reykjavic !!!!) I think I'm going to ask santa for some thermal long johns!!!
long johns........:rotfl:, well as long as they keep you warm Paul that's the main thing and who's going to see them underneath your clothes?:D
Go for it.
Hope your well today Paul.:A

Does sound as though it will all be in place correctly when he is allowed to leave.
Also if you ever need any support yourself and a quick answer to any problem then I found this forum such a comfort when things were bad and I didn't know where to turn http://forum.alzheimers.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=25I hope that you get to spend some special time with your Dad next week and it is a means to having him home for good if that is possible, love to you and your family, it's a tough thing to be dealing with. :kisses3:
Thank you so much hunni, this is fab and the links, will check them out anyway, it all helps, thank you.:kisses3:
Yes we are hoping its going to work out and that he can stay at home, they did say they will try him a few times, but if the worse comes to the worse, it will have to be a residential home, but will see how it goes first, fingers crossed.;):beer:XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Its funny that, just lately no-one ever says to me "you're doing too much".
xx
Good Morning Marshallka, how are you this fine day? The sun is shining here, which is nice even though it a bit Baltic. Need to get a pair of long johns on like Paul.
Love the comment about powercut or internet down..you are both a blessing especially for those looking for advice..and for your company.;)
I think you do too much I know you couldnt relax when you were waiting on news about your sister, how is she doing? As my daughter would say Chillax.........much easier said than done.
My daughter was in tears yesterday she's not the emotional type even allowed me to hug her so I definately know she's not well. I got a gargling antiseptic mouthwash and lozenges but no effect, her face looks like she's taken on Mike Tyson and she can't move her neck because her glands are so swollen.
Good news though my husband sorted out our washing machine it was leaking, he took out the filter and a pound dropped out and no leaks now...fingers crossed do not want to get a washing machine for Christmas.:p0 -
Ahh Babe that was a lovely message, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I read it. Your words were so sincere and momentous. I felt as proud as punch, I don’t know why either. Its nothing to do with me its you guy’s forum.
I’m just the cheeky wee Scot that came to visit one day and then took up squatters rights. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I keep waiting for Martin to send me a rent book. I’ll be bankrupt if charges me by the hour.
Thanks a million to you all, :T :T :T
Firstly for putting up with me and also for letting me play. :j:j:j
Morning Gerry, You should feel proud as punch, your cheeky banter really perks us up...you have a great spirit, thank you for sharing.
How are you feeling today? I expect your tubes will be frozen again today its a beautiful day blue skies and lots of frost, think you'll need to take a flame thrower to your gate again.

Good morning everyone,
Hope all are well.
Had a bit of a shocker this morning and it almost made me ill.........._pale_, looking into the fish tank - I thought I was seeing things, the weather loach was hanging out of the Koi's mouth........, I was actually on the phone the same time talking to mum and dropped the phone.
We have had them for a long time now and I have never actually experienced seeing this before, Daniel my youngest is not happy as they are his fish.......:o.
Hubby came rushing down the stairs and had to take the fish out of the Koi's mouth and I kept out of the way, it was an horrible thing to see first thing in the morning, it put me off my breakfast, and now hubby is taking the mic out of me, by saying "fish and chips for dinner":mad:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
